Nothing is important than one’s life

Last January 20th, six people killed by fire in Yongsan, South Korea. This tragedy happened during the process of put down demonstration by tenants of Yongsan redevelopment area. It’s already passed ten days but nobody apologize or responsibility for this accident. Government already knew Kim Suck-gi Seoul police director allowed to dispatch SWAT to put down tenants but they don’t apologize and censure, but make an excuse of “fine real reason”. They want to make people concentrate on Seoul police director by put off time and want to make him victim. They want to lay the responsibility on him and control this accident as easily as possible.

Many media and politician urged this accident caused by tenant. Because while demonstration they use violence such as throw firebombs. They knew the thinner is very dangerous material but they use it make firebombs for against to government, so they have to take responsibility for this tragedy. Of course, demonstrate by violence is wrong way to express one’s opinion. However, basic cause of this accident is taking strong measure of government. Actually this is conflict occurred between development trader and tenants due to reward. The trader thought it is enough but tenants felt it is unacceptable. In this situation, government had to take the role of mediating a conflict between development trader and tenants, but government just took trader’s side. The government ignored tenants’ the right to live. They gave just 25 hours to tenants for demonstration and then put down them by violence. They didn’t have willing to solve the problem by compromise. Many human rights associations in Korea thought this accident is the case of ignorance weak people’s live right, so they sends complain messages to UN.

We don’t know why the police choose the violence to tenants? And why don’t they try hard to talk each other? Why don’t they apologize to people? The government has to apologize to people. No, at least, they have to apologize to this accident’s victim’s families. First of all, they have to beg pardon about menacing the tenant’s right of life by short tempered new town redevelopment. Governments have to protect the people especially the weak but they ignore them. It is neglect of duty. Second, apologize to use violence to the tenant. Even if tenants have firebombs they are not many and inferior but SWAT use cruelty violence toward them and police didn’t prepare safety equipment. They expected strong resistance so prepared a crane to move container but they didn’t prepared fire truck or mattresses. Third, the police have to explain why they did autopsy dead bodies without family’s permission. Families insist that they already know victim’s I.D. but they did autopsy even they didn’t need. They doubt the police hide something such as sign of hard violence. At last, don’t avoid to taking responsibility for this accident. Six people lose their lives. It is a big deal and we can meet same situations again and again. If we were not deal this accident fairly at this time, we might pay more blood and lives in next situation. National task is important but human’s rights and life is most important thing. We have to remember this, we are human and everything has the right path.

I like drama really much, so my one of my hobbies is watching drama. Thesedays, 'the massy' drama is popular in Korean society. 'The temptation of wife'(picture) is one of 'the messy' drama. People called 'The temtation of wife' representing 'The massy' drama. It is so popular so I wonder how was it. Therefore, I watched the drama.

'The temptation of wife' started husband's womanizing and he tried to kill his wife. this drama contain several stimulative elements. Of course these several stimulative elements makes drama more interesting. However, this drama has too much! This drama telecate at 7:20 pm. It is the time which teens can watch very easily. I'm worried about teens. This drama's prejudice and immoral things are not benefit to teens.

I want to see movie!

After i came to America,

there are many interesting movies show up in Korea.
When i searched internet i found this article.
I'm not femminist, but i don't like discrimination in Korean society.

Actually this movie is based on the same title novel.
When i will be back to Korea,

I'll watch it and read it!!!

Hey! Happiness not comes from score!

Korea is one of countries which is the most having interest in children’s education because they do not have any resource without human resource. In 2008 new president Lee myung-bak brought a new education policy. One of new policy is let every elementary school students, middle school students, and high school students take the state-run exam. New government insists that the purpose of this new policy is building up public education and reduce cost of private education, but this policy was occurred quite huge argument in Korean society because many people, include many expert, do not think this policy is not good for buildup public education and make parents spend more money for private education.

Jangsu Middle School Principal Kim In-bong said “I can’t agree with this new policy because the state-run exam evaluates every student by same exam paper and this evaluation destroys student’s own potential.” Many Korean have very strict bias that only good score at exam can cause happy life. Many parents and teachers ignore children’s talents or interests. They want to their kids study hard only. I think happiness is goal of our life but tendency of force to studying is not right way of bring happiness. Good score not bring happiness to our children. Every child has their own talent. We have to think about that same education is supporting our children’s real happiness? I know importance of education, but we don’t have to evaluate children by only their score.
